A talented artist who often helps to engage our younger participants in Art Class. They look up to him, and he sets the tone to help them settle down and think about their artwork. As a bilingual artist, Mauricio is happy to help explain our activities to patients whose best language is Spanish. His Criss Cross Heart card just came out for Valentine’s Day. I presented Mauricio with his samples while he waited for his appointment in the outpatient clinic, and he was thrilled. Presenting patients with products featuring their art is such a wonderful moment!
